Statement of Faith
We believe that there is one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is holy, righteous, and full of grace, mercy, compassion and love. In His infinite love He sent forth Jesus Christ, the Son that the world through Him might be saved.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and visible return in power and glory.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he was tempted by Satan and fell, and that, because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for salvation.
We believe that as a result of the Fall all men and women are sinful by nature. Sin pollutes and controls them, and infects every part of their being, renders them guilty in the sight of God, and subject to penalty.
We believe that through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose death was a perfect oblation and satisfaction for our sins, God who, instead of reckoning to us our sins, reckons Christ’s righteousness to our account freely justifies the sinner. Salvation is therefore by grace and not by human merit.
We believe in the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life, and by whom the church is empowered to carry out Christ’s great commission. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is essential to the individual Christian and to the Church.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly and gloriously to earth to receive His saints to Himself. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, those who are saved unto the resurrection of life and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
